User Experience Notes Explained
Hubspot offers other SaaS companies several ways to integrate with its suite of tools. Here are some of the most common use cases:
CRM Extension: Add your data to a Hubspot CRM Contact, Company, or Deal record, and have it viewed inside the CRM’s UI on its own branded sidebar “card.” You can also add UI functions that trigger events and push data back to your app.
Timeline: Add Contact, Company, or Deal specific event data to that Contact, Company, or Deal’s timeline viewed inside the Hubspot UI (including CRM, Marketing Hub, and others TBD.)
Sync Data: Using a field mapping UI, configure data syncing between entities and fields in your app and Hubspot entities and fields.
- Third Party
Cost to Publish Explained
Publishing Cost: Hubspot does not charge any fee to publish your App in their Marketplace.
Code Hosting Cost: Hubspot’s DX facilitates some functions, but most of integration’s code will run on an independent third-party server like AWS or Heroku. Left Hook will also build custom UI elements for user authentication, field mapping, and related implementation steps. These costs will scale depending on number of users and the amount of data moving between apps; for most SaaS companies, this secure infrastructure will cost between $50 and $200 per month.
